The Chain Block, commonly known as a hand chain hoist or block and tackle is a useful tool for many manual handling applications. Lifting capacities range from 0.25 to 30.0t with unlimited travel possible. Operation is via the hand chain, a simple but effective mechanical advantage to lift or lower heavy loads.

The PROCB manual chain block is manufactured from the highest quality steel materials precisely machined in Tiger's own factory, offering a lightweight, compact and rugged construction, producing an exceptionally strong product resistant to impact damage.  The especially low headroom allows for easy installation in the most restricted environments. The unique design features - including the patented Quad Cam Pawl System - give it significant safety advantages over standard chain blocks and make the PROCB chain block the ideal tool for long term use with low maintenance and servicing costs.

These units meet and exceed all the requirements within BS EN 13157: 2004+A1:2009, ANSI/ASME B30.16, AS 1418.2 and SANS 1594.
