Camlok TWG750/100 Wide Jaw Vertical Plate Clamp with Modified Side Plates - 750kg W.L.L 30-100mm Jaw Capacity
The TAG vertical clamps are extremely versatile. They have a large jaw capacity that enables them to be used on a multitude of applications such as loading machine tools, steel constructions, welding and numerous assembly functions. The design means that they do not require additional chain slings and are very easy and simple to use.
The automatic gripping force is retained by a positive tension jaw spring, even if there is slack in the chain. The clamps are also fitted with a ‘Quick-Open’ lever for ease of
loading and unloading.
The TWG vertical grab is a variation of the TAG. It is specially designed with a small outside measurement for use on hard to reach places such as loading billets on to a lathe etc.
Features
- The automatic clamping force is retained by a positive tension spring, even if there is slack in the chain
- The "Quick-Open" type universal grab opens by lifting and simultaneously pulling the lever out against the tension spring. The jaw is closed by the spring.
- Universal grabs up to 2.0t capacity are equipped with round chains, clamps with increased capacities are delivered with roller chains
Optional
Model TAG up to 1.25t W.L.L. is available with protective lining on the clamping jaws on request. This results in a decrease of the jaw capacity by 10mm.
Note: The plate surface of the material being clamped must have a hardness level below HRC 30/Brinell 300
