Grade 8 Chain Sling Construction

Cobra Grade 8 Chain Slings are manufactured from high-strength alloy steel chain and Grade 8 lifting components, providing dependable performance in demanding working environments.

The 7mm chain is manufactured to BS EN 818-2, with associated lifting components conforming to BS EN 1677. Each completed sling is supplied with an identification tag detailing key information including the Working Load Limit, chain size and traceability.

The two-leg configuration allows loads to be supported from two lifting points, helping to improve stability and distribute the load across the sling legs when correctly selected and used.
