Description
GT Viper Wire Rope Snatch Block with Shackle Head
Snatch blocks are heavy-duty pulley systems designed to increase the pulling capacity and efficiency of winches and cable pullers. By changing the direction of the rope and reducing the load on the lifting equipment, a snatch block can significantly improve pulling performance and, in some applications, can effectively double the pulling capacity of a winch or cable puller.
Manufactured with a robust pulley wheel enclosed in a protective metal casing, snatch blocks are ideal for lifting, pulling and positioning heavy loads with greater control and reduced effort. They provide a reliable connection point between the load and the lifting equipment and are suitable for use with both wire rope and fibre rope.
Commonly used in lifting, recovery, construction and industrial applications, snatch blocks are particularly effective when moving heavy loads over shorter distances where increased mechanical advantage and smoother operation are required.
