Securpulley 18mm Diameter Polypropylene Rope - 60m with Hook

For our Securpulleys we use a polypropylene staple-spun rope.

Minimum diameter rope used on a Securpulley has to be 18mm - anything smaller and the brake will not hold in position.

Available in 30m length (294-8-1) or 60m length (294-8-2) complete with hook.

This polypropylene rope outdoes a number of other natural fibre equivalents across a range of capabilities. It is more durable, corrosion-resistant, flexible, strong and cost-efficient than other types of twine and cords.

This rope will survive a range of environments effectively. Whether it is exposed to high temperatures, splashed with corrosive chemicals or soaked in salt water. Another advantage with this material is that it will stretch under the load, allowing it to bear the weight of heavy items more evenly without succumbing to the stresses. It offers a mixture of rigidity and flexibility that is not found elsewhere.
